I'm Alex
Hey there! I'm Alex Hope Leaphart. I have always enjoyed photography as a hobby since I was an editor of my high school yearbook, but it wasn't till Sophomore year of college till I started taking photography a bit more seriously. I bought my first DSLR camera and a couple of lens, and I started my own social project in Spartanburg. I offer free maternity, newborn, and family portraits to low income families and was able to partner with local non-profits that funded prints for the families. I graduated from Wofford College with a B.A. in Finance and Accounting, and started my photography business my senior year of college. My hopes for the future is to become a successful wedding and life photographer, while keeping a part of my business philanthropical.
I am a follower and lover of Jesus. I got married at the ripe age of 21 to my best friend since 5th grade. We currently live in Spartanburg, SC, but we are from a small town called Gilbert, SC (about 30 mins outside of Columbia). I love coke, pickles, pecan pie, chicken salad, and pickled okra. My secret talent is I can spend 18 hours on a beach. I love traveling and adventures with my husband. You could actually consider me a doctor because of the amount of Grey's Anatomy I watch. Joanna Gaines is my spirit animal. I could watch Disney movies and rom coms all day long. I wish I had the style of Altar D'State, but live in leggings/yoga pants and t-shirts. The worst chore ever is matching socks. The best thing about me is my husband and my family because they have been my support system my entire life.
My favorite thing about being a photographer is the people I get to work with. I love making new friends and I find talking to people very easy. You could call me a open book. I am a cheerleader to everyone. I love hearing people laugh, and making people smile. The number one thing I want for my business is to glorify God in everything I do and to share his light and love to everyone I come in contact with. I love to encourage people, love on them, and make them feel beautiful and confident. I want my clients to feel completely comfortable with me and to leave a session feeling giddy and loved.

cuddled up on the couch with my husband (Taylor), my Boykin spaniel (Georgia), my computer, my fuzzy blanket, and a coke watching our latest Netflix obsession
I am mostly known for:
my ability to talk to anyone like their my best friend, being a professional Instagram scroller, my organizational skills, loving my husband well, being a coke addict, my love for the beach, having a gallon of pickles in my fridge, being a Facetimeing fiend, and learning dance YouTube videos
I love serving the world by:
encouraging and praying for the people around me, gifting low income families free photography sessions, and helping brides, grooms, and families have a peace of mind on their weddings day
The things I am most passionate about in life are:
Jesus, who has blessed me with the skill and passion of photography, my husband, Taylor, who chooses me everyday and shows me what being selfless looks like, and my family who has supported me, challenged me, and loved me my entire life.
