Mr. and Mrs. Howard | Jackson's Landing Wedding | Columbia, SC

Jackson’s Landing in Batesburg, South Carolina is a true diamond in the rough! It is breathing

taking. A cross stands on the top of a beautiful hill overlooking green forest and more rolling

hills. A barn like building is outfitted with elegant draperies and chandeliers and accented with

perfectly picked antiques. It was the perfect backdrop for Nea and Matt to tie the knot!

When I got there, Nea and her girls were enjoying the morning getting ready and jamming out

to some music. Nea was relaxed and calm! When Matt arrived he had an excited anxiousness

to him. He was both ready to get down the aisle and also wanted to make this the absolute

perfect day for his Bride!

Nea and Matt we're both giddy with excitement until the very moment Nea walked down the

aisle. That moment was one of so much power and emotion. As Nea and Matt’s eyes met it

was immediately evident how much they meant to one another. This absolute adoration and

love carried over to the sweetest personal vows they shared. They further signified their

commitment and love in a unity ceremony where they branded a piece of wood together. As

they sealed their marriage with a kiss the canon sounded (yes, a literal canon how awesome is

that!) Matt then swept Nea off her feet and carried her down the aisle!

Every aspect of the ceremony was beautiful, personal, and filled with so much love. One of the most special parts was the crown that Nea choose to wear last minute. She found it when packing up at her

parent's house. The moment she found it she knew she had found a very special something

old piece to wear. This crown had been a gift to her from her late grandfather. It was so special

to her to incorporate him into her special day!

Nea and Matt were completely smitten with each other as we took surreal sunset pictures

overlooking the rolling hills!

The celebration continued well into the evening with dancing and partying! Then they left

together, as husband in wife, with sparklers and well wishes! This wedding was a dream made possible only by the sweetest bride and groom. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Howard!
