Mr. and Mrs. Wingard | Fort Jackson Wedding | Columbia, SC
I have known Rachel and Kennith since high school! They even went to prom with my husband and I in a group one year. I was so incredibly honored and excited to be able to capture their wedding day after 9 years of dating and knowing them since the beginning of their relationship.
Kenny has entered the military which gave them the opportunity to have their wedding at the beautiful Fort Jackson’s Officer's Club. Rachel told me from the very beginning that her mom was the mastermind behind every single detail of Rachel’s day. Rachel said her mom took her vision and brought it to life. From flowers to décor and even favors, Rachel’s mom put a personal touch in everything.
Leading up to their wedding day the forecast showed a 100% chance of rain. When the day arrived there was no rain in sight and it was a beautiful December wedding day in South Carolina. There were lots of unique things that Kenny and Rachel did. One that stood out at the beginning of the day was the guys had a barber come to the wedding venue to do shaves and hair cuts before the big moment.
Rachel and Kenny have a daughter. She was a VERY special part of their day. They created memories together that can be recreated on her wedding day. Special memories like mommy, Rachel, zipping up daughters dress and a daddy, Kenny, daughter first look. Their daughter is literally the cutest, guys! Wait till you see her in the pictures!!
The entire day was surrounded by emotion and love. Rachel and Kenny’s love and care for their family was very evident. Rachel and Kenny are two of the most compassionate people I know.
Of course, part of my objective for the day was to capture all of these very best moments in photos. Kenny and Rachel made my job incredibly easy. They know how to pose for the camera!
At the reception, Rachel and Kenny did not leave the dance floor. The music spanned genres, making it fun for everyone.
They ended the night with an exit fit for this Disney loving couple. Sparklers surrounded them as they made their way out to Malibu and Disneyland!
It is my honor and privilege to introduce you all to Mr. and Mrs. Wingard!
